Wild Tigers Safari

Mar 22-Apr 4, 2027 - 14 Days - Sold Out

Join us in India during the prime season for Bengal tiger activity. With temperatures still moderate, tigers are on the move—roaming, hunting, and interacting—giving you the best opportunities to capture unforgettable images. We’ve secured 6 full-day and 2 half-day safaris in Tadoba and Kanha National Parks. Full-day permits allow early entry, flexible zone selection, and the ability to stay out from dawn to dusk—dramatically increasing your chances of extraordinary encounters. Then, we’ll head to Pench National Park for 3.5 days of wildlife-rich exploration, with strong chances to photograph Bengal tigers, Indian leopards, bison, wild dogs, and more. With only two participants per jeep, you'll have plenty of space and the freedom to shoot from both sides. This 14-day, all-inclusive adventure is led by world-renowned tiger photographer Nitish Madan—don’t miss your chance to learn from the best and come home with portfolio-worthy images.

Full Day Safari Permits

Many India photo workshops will advertise having full-day safari permits.  But pay attention to the number of full-day safaris they offer.  Many times, it's only 1-3.  On the other hand, we are offering SIX full day safaris.  These permits are 5 times the cost of regular safari days.  The benefits include:

  • Enter 20 mins before the other safaris and leave 20 mins later.
  • Choose any zone we want depending on where the best sightings are.
  • Enjoy the midday hours when all other jeeps have to leave the park.
  • Fewer restrictions, like being able to stay on a location as long as we like and being able to back-up on the road.
  • These are the same permits given to film crews like the BBC, National Geographic, etc.

Logistics

We recommend arriving in Delhi the day before the workshop begins on Mar 23rd.  If you arrive the day before, you will need to book your own lodging near the airport.  We recommend the Pride Plaza Hotel.  We will meet at Terminal 2 at the Delhi International Airport around midday on Mar 24th for our flight to Nagpur.

If you book as a single participant but want double occupancy, we will attempt to pair you with another participant of the same gender. But with our small groups that is not always possible. If we cannot pair you up, you will be asked to pay the single supplement.

All lodging during the workshop is in upscale 4-star hotels and jungle lodges.

Nitish Madan

Nitish Madan is a landscape and wildlife photographer based in Delhi, India, deeply committed to the cause of wildlife conservation. He specializes in private guided wildlife photography tours to Indias best known national parks.

He works closely with clients to ensure they return home with a portfolio of images that they would be proud to show to their friends, family and colleagues. He has well over 1000 tiger safaris under his belt.

He has been visiting national parks of India since 2002 as he has always had a deep, spiritual love of nature, wildlife and adventure. He saw his first wild tiger back in 2004 in Kanha National Park in central India. He was totally mesmerized by its beauty. After this sighting, he decided to buy a camera so he could relive those special moments to cherish those memories.

Compared to other genres of photography, wildlife photography is very challenging as you have no control over nature or animals, but that is what makes it so exciting and deeply satisfying.

His goal as a photographer is to share these jewels of nature with everyone to inspire more interest and compassion for the natural world in the hopes that they may be conserved for generations to come.
